Spring Market at Old Bust Head Brewing Company Draws Crowds for Another Successful Year

Held annually each spring, the market at Old Bust Head Brewing Company has clearly grown in popularity over the years. This year’s event drew a large crowd, with the brewery’s outdoor seating areas packed throughout the afternoon as people browsed vendors, listened to live music, and enjoyed the warm weather.

I attended with one of my Fauquier Ladies friends — who’s also one of my regular pickleball partners — and we spent time walking through the market before grabbing Orange Julius-style drinks and sitting out front on the patio overlooking the brewery’s new beer garden.

The vendor lineup featured exactly the kind of wares you’d expect from a well-curated local spring market: artwork, jewelry, baked goods, candles, and gift items including crochet toys for kids, handmade coasters, and decorative window ornaments. There was also food trucks and live music, with the brewery itself abuzz with visitors enjoying the festive atmosphere with plenty of space to relax and stay awhile.

What makes the event work so well is its balance of being both social and community-focused. It’s a good excuse to meet up with friends, enjoy a drink outdoors, and support local artisans and small businesses all in one place.
